What the heck is this robolamp thing you may ask. Well, it was named after the lamp in the attached picture. Let me tell you the story behind this lamp.
It was a dark and stormy night… Well, not really. It was a sunny afternoon when my oldest daughter and I were visiting a home center store looking for a few items. We came across this lamp and she thought it would be the perfect lamp for my home office. I had to agree with her. I liked it and I liked even more that she suggested it! Needless to say, it ended up in the cart and on my desk where I enjoyed it immensely!
Several years later I was working for a company where a large amount of travel was required. Whenever I came home my daughter would have a new note welcoming me home. It became our tradition that I looked forward to in a big way!
She is grown and gone now and so am I. I still have that lamp though with several of the last notes she wrote me still in its “hand”.
